Attention Students: Upcoming GRE Workshops
September 7, 2007

Attention students interested in graduate school. Graduate Record Examination (GRE) training is coming to APU!

APU's Pew College Society hosts a free, two-day training workshop designed to prepare students for the GRE standardized test.

  • Monday, September 24, Part I – Math Strategies
  • Tuesday, September 25, Part II – Verbal Strategies

Both sessions take place from 7:30–9 p.m. in the Faculty Dining Room, located on APU’s East Campus.

This two-part workshop will be taught by an instructor from the Princeton Review, an organization that specializes in helping students improve their scores on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) and other standardized tests. These two sessions will focus on helpful test-taking strategies. The first 50 students to sign up will receive a free book.

Additionally, the Princeton Review will offer its complete seven-week GRE preparation course at a significantly reduced price of $300 per student. The course begins October 6 and ends November 17, and will meet each Saturday from 1–4 p.m. on APU’s East Campus.

To enroll, or for more information, contact Joseph Bentz, Ph.D., director of the Pew College Society, at jbentz@apu.edu.
