APU's Department of Theater, Film, and Television hosts the annual Faith and Media Arts Festival this Saturday, November 17 at 4:30 p.m. Held in the Mary Hill Theater on the university's West Campus, the festival will feature guest speaker Chip Hurd, director and producer of Inspired by. . .The Bible Experience.
Hailed as the most ambitious audio presentation of the complete Bible ever produced, Inspired by. . .The Bible Experience stars Oscar-winning actors Denzel Washington, Cuba Gooding, Jr., and Forest Whitaker. The all-star cast includes three Oscar winners, five Golden Globe winners, eight Emmy winners, 23 Grammy winners, and 43 pastors and ministers. The New Testament edition was named 2007 Audiobook of the Year by the Audio Publishers Association.
Hurd will return to APU's campus for Common Day of Learning on March 5, 2008.
