Partner Libraries

The APU Libraries have made a number of cooperative agreements to allow APU students, faculty, and staff to borrow materials from other academic and public libraries.

LINK+

LINK+ is a cooperative arrangement between 40 public and academic libraries in California and Nevada. It allows students, faculty, and staff from member libraries to electronically request an item not available in their own library, and to have that item delivered to their own library for check-out within 2 to 4 business days. APU will mail the book directly to Regional Center requestors. For more information about LINK+ and to access the LINK+ catalog, click here.

Inland Empire Academic Library Cooperative (IEALC)

IEALC is a cooperative arrangement between 17 academic libraries in San Bernardino, Riverside, Los Angeles, and Orange Counties. It allows students to visit and borrow materials from participating libraries. Students must show the APU I.D. card and the IEALC card at the participating library in order to borrow books. Southern California Area Theological Library Association (SCATLA)

SCATLA is a cooperative arrangement between 18 theological libraries in Southern California. It allows graduate theology students and theology faculty members to visit and borrow materials from participating libraries. A research consultation is required in order to obtain a SCATLA card, and users must show the APU I.D. card and the SCATLA card at the participating library in order to borrow books. Statewide California Electronic Library Consortium (SCELC)

SCELC is a cooperative arrangement between 83 libraries throughout California. It allows faculty members to visit and borrow materials from participating libraries. A research consultation is required in order to obtain a SCELC card, and faculty members must show the APU I.D. card and the SCELC card at the participating library in order to borrow books. This service is not available for students or staff. To apply for a SCELC card, contact Jane Thorndike at jthorndike@apu.edu or (626) 815-6000 x3281.
