APU Hosts Send-off Celebration for Olympian Bryan Clay

APU Alumnus and 2008 Olympian Bryan Clay and his coaches Kevin Reid, Mike Barnett, and Rana Reider.
WHAT:
APU President Jon Wallace and the Azusa Pacific University community will gather for a send off and celebration dessert for Bryan Clay and his coaches as they depart to compete in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China.

FACTS:
America’s top decathlete, Clay won the silver medal at the 2004 Olympic Summer Games in Athens, broke the previous U.S. Track and Field Olympic Trials record this year, and is favored to win the gold at this year’s Olympic Games.
